We’re all familiar with the old saying: “Cleanliness is next to godliness.”

P. J. O’Rourke puts a spin on it: “Cleanliness becomes more important when godliness is unlikely.” 

But perhaps godliness and cleanliness are more closely linked than they appear. Perhaps by looking to God we can be made clean. Wonder what I mean by that? Read Quiet Company and a Clean Page.
